MUTE

Returns

There is nothing to return.

MUTE 01 is unreleased and no order has ever been taken on this site. This page exists so that the standard the return policy will be written against is on the record before anyone is asked to trust it.

The floor

Anyone buying at a distance in the EU has a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within fourteen days of receiving it, without giving a reason. That right is not ours to grant and not ours to shorten. Whatever policy we publish will sit on top of it, never underneath.

What still has to be decided

Who pays return postage. How a refund is issued and how long it takes. The condition a frame has to come back in, and what counts as fair handling rather than wear. Whether a frame that has been fitted with prescription lenses by a third party can come back at all, which is a real question on a hand-finished acetate frame and not one to answer vaguely.

What is not a return

A frame that arrives faulty, or fails because of how it was made, is not a return and is not subject to any window. That is a defect, and it is on us to put right.

Until then

Nothing above can be exercised, because nothing has been sold. When the release opens, the full policy publishes with it, and the list is how you will hear: join it.
